In Out Court in China

In Out Court in co-operation with Bai Dong Tennis Academy completed the second round of coaches’ education program at Zhanjiang. The program included the following 2 workshops:

  1. Creating – Developing players U10.
  2. Developing players 11-14.

With great interest 30 coaches from the academy for 6 days attended the 2 workshops and received lots of new useful knowledge.

Mr. George Papachatzis representing In Out Court has made new future co-operations on education programs and also development programs of tennis in China.

We must thank the Technical Director of Bai Dong Academy Mr. Thomas Wang for the impeccable organization and hospitality.

1st Wokshop 2015

The In Out Court in cooperation with   Kalovelonis Tennis Academy launched the 1st Workshop for 2015 on Sunday 11th of January, the theme of  the workshop was:


Reconciling the game-based approach method with the classical methodology in training kids and adults using the 3 game situations ( Base Line Game- Net Game- Serve & Return) ».
The Speaker was Mr. Manos Moulianitakis ( In Out Court coordinator / Kalovelonis Tennis Academy Technical Director /  ITF Tutor).

Our Next event will be the main course of “The 4th Stage of Hellenic coaches’ education program” which will start the 13th of February, more details will announce very soon.

New collaporation with Kalovelonis Tennis Academy

 A leading collaboration in Greek Tennis held recently between Kalovelonis Tennis Academy and  Inoutcourt Tennis Technical Support.
Specifically, from the end of November the Technical Division of the Academy took over the charge of coaching training programs and development players director, mr. Manos Moulianitakis.

Cooperation refers to two parts which is the function / organization Academy (KTA) and the operation of the Programs Training Coaches and Development players (Inoutcourt).

Collaboration with Iraklio Tennis club

As part of the technical assistance programs, of  In Out Court, to tennis clubs Mr. Papachatzis George completed the first working week  in OA Heraklion as Technical Director

In excellent working atmosphere with board members and coaches began the organization  in the following areas:

- Evaluation and Recommendation of elite and performance teams.
- Establishment of new education and training programs for adults.
- New form of land planning education.
- Upgrade the operating programs of the secretariat.
- Inform parents of performance groups.
- Training of coaches for the new training system to kids and adults.
- Definition of the objectives in collaboration with the Board and the coaches for the 2014-15.

Camp - Worshop "Developing players U10"

 In Out Court and the British Academy Inspire2coach in cooperation with the coaching team Heliopolis Tennis Club, organized players camp and Coaches Workshop.

The participating players and coaches with the supervision of Mr. Richard Marklow had the opportunity to train and educate in the following:

·       Building technique for the future

o      Red technique

o      Orange technique

·       Group teaching at Red

·       Keep players active – different ways to organise

·       Link coordination to lesson theme

·       Keep sessions fun

·       Good attention to detail needed

·       Teach through the game

·       The session includes Game situation, tactical intention, skill, ball characteristics

·       Coach energy crucial

·       Grow the court carefully

Participants also had the opportunity to watch the coaches of Heliopolis Tennis club (Stamoulos George - Frangoulis Andrea – Gregory Anagnostopoulos) presenting their system of organization and education they receive to develop players under 10 years.

The In Out Court and the British Academy Inspire2coach in cooperation with the coaching team Heliopolis Tennis Academy, organize players training Camp and Coaches Workshop from May 30th until Sunday June 1st 2014.

The Camp and Workshop belong to the Players Development and Coaches Education programs of In Out Court.

Coaches – Presenters of the Camp – Workshop are:

The Camp is open to boys and girls red and orange level (age 6-10 years) and open also for adults (from 18 years) intermediate and advanced level.
The Workshop is open to tennis coaches and physical education teachers.

The main themes of the Camp / Workshop are:
Red level
1. Game based approach applied in coaching process.

2. Competitive forms applied in coaching unit.
3. Coordination skills.

Orange level
1. Application of game situations and tactical intentions.
2. Competitive forms applied in coaching unit.
3. Coordination skills

Adult Intermediate
 1. Strokes technical corrections Game based approach.
 2. Application of game situations and tactical intentions

 3. Fitness training

Adults Advanced Level
 1. Application of game situations and tactical intentions
 2. Fitness training


The participation fee for the Camp is:
Red level: 35 €.
Orange level: 45 €.
Adults: 50 €

The participation fee for the Workshop is:
Coaches / Teachers gas. Education: 60,00 €
Physical Education Students: 30,00 €.

"Strength & Conditioning" Seminar

 In Out Court in collaboration with  Inspire2coach organized a Specific theme Seminar in Kalovelonis Tennis Academy on 15.16 February 2014 .

The 78 participants watched with great interest the theoretical and practical presentations for training players (Under 10 and 11-14)in Strength & Conditioning.
The speaker of the seminar Mr. Richard Westman as Head fitness coach in LTA  for the Central District of England gave useful information for coaches and  in particular on the following issues :

- Measurement and evaluation of physical capacity .

- Contemporary forms of Functional training.

- Useful analysis program Long term athletes development.

- Scheduling fitness training.

- Types of Training for Strength & Conditioning.

During a panel discussion the participants had the opportunity to hear the importance of fitness in modern tennis from ATP players ( George Kaloveloni , Solon Pepas and Mark Kalovelonis).

The answers given, representing three different generations , stressed the importance of physical fitness training in younger athletes - mation .
